Road Rage and Drug Abuse Awareness Programme

A webinar on “Road Rage and Drug Abuse Awareness” was attended by the students and teachers of Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School under the valuable guidance of the Principal Ma’am. The programme was organized by Modern School on 14th May 2026 and the resource person for the session was IPS officer Rajesh Astitva.

The webinar aimed to create awareness among students regarding the increasing cases of road rage, irresponsible behaviour on roads, and the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society. The speaker explained the importance of self-discipline, patience, emotional control, and responsible citizenship while driving and interacting with others in public places.

During the session, Rajesh Astitva highlighted the major causes and consequences of drug addiction among youth. He motivated students to stay away from harmful substances and encouraged them to adopt healthy lifestyles, positive thinking, and good company. Real-life examples and practical suggestions were shared to help students understand the legal, social, and health-related impacts of substance abuse.

The webinar was highly informative, interactive, and inspiring. Students actively participated and gained valuable knowledge about traffic discipline, mental awareness, and the importance of making responsible decisions in life.

The Principal Ma’am appreciated the efforts of the organizers and encouraged students to apply the learnings from the webinar in their daily lives. The programme concluded with a message of awareness, safety, and social responsibility for all participants.
