Three-Day Self-Defence Workshop For Girls

  • Resource Persons / Trainers: ASI Kanta and CT Sanju

Objective

The objective of the training camp was to empower young female students with practical self-defence skills, build physical stamina, and enhance situational awareness to ensure their safety in everyday life.

Key Highlights of the Workshop

  • Practical Techniques: Over the course of three days, trainers ASI Kanta and CT Sanju demonstrated hands-on self-defence moves, including counter-attack strategies, wrist-escape maneuvers, blocking techniques, and effective ways to disable an assailant using minimal force.
  • Awareness & Utility: The trainers conducted interactive discussions on the critical importance of self-defence, teaching students how to identify potential threats, react promptly in emergency situations, and use everyday objects such as school bags, keys, and water bottles for personal safety.
  • Confidence & Drill Sessions: Students engaged in supervised practice drills each morning, applying the learned techniques in mock threat scenarios to build confidence and muscle memory.

Outcome

The workshop concluded on 19 August with an interactive question-and-answer session. The participating students gained valuable defensive skills, heightened self-confidence, and a proactive mindset toward personal safety.

The school administration expressed gratitude to ASI Kanta and CT Sanju for their dedicated guidance and impactful training sessions.
