AZADI UTSAV 2026 — Freedom. Pride. Progress

As part of the Independence Day Celebration at Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School, the school had the honour of welcoming Additional SHO Mr. Govind Rawat, accompanied by members of his team, as the Guest of Honour.

The presence of the esteemed police officials added significance to the celebration and provided an opportunity for students to interact with members of the police department. The guests were warmly welcomed by the school authorities and students.

During their visit, the police team appreciated the efforts of the school in organising a meaningful celebration that fostered patriotism, discipline, civic responsibility and respect for the nation. Their presence also served as an inspiration for students to understand the importance of responsible citizenship and the role of law-enforcement agencies in maintaining peace, safety and harmony in society.

Mr. Govind Rawat and his team appreciated the enthusiasm and participation of the students and extended their good wishes to the school community. Their interaction with the students was both informative and encouraging, leaving a positive and lasting impression.
