NATIONAL FLAG DISPOSAL CEREMONY On Monday, 27th January 2025, our school organized the National Flag Disposal Ceremony with great respect and dignity. The program was conducted in the school premises, where the national flag, which was no longer in use, was properly and respectfully disposed of. The ceremony was led by our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Aruna Sivaraj, and actively participated in by the NCC cadets, who followed the proper protocol to bury the flag with full honor and solemnity.
The primary objective of this ceremony was to instill a sense of respect and responsibility toward the national flag among the students. The national flag, which symbolizes the pride, unity, and sovereignty of our country, must always be treated with the utmost reverence. Through this program, the students were taught that when a flag becomes unfit for use, it should not be discarded disrespectfully but disposed of in a dignified manner following established procedures.
The ceremony began with a parade by the NCC cadets in the school ground, showcasing discipline and dedication. This was followed by the formal flag disposal process. During the event, Principal Mrs. Aruna Sivaraj addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of the national flag and its role as a symbol of our independence, identity, and values. She inspired the students to always uphold the honor of national symbols and cultivate a deep sense of patriotism in their lives.
