Annual Sports Day cum Prize Distribution Ceremony

Himalaya Public Sr. Sec. School, Rohini, held its Annual Sports Day cum Prize Distribution Ceremony on 7th December 2024. The event, presided over by Chairman Sh. K.C. Gupta and Chairperson Smt. Pushpa Devi, was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Veditha Reddy, IAS, Director of Education, Guest of Honour Sh. Vikas Kalia, Regional Director of Education, and Special Guests Dr. Rakesh Rahi and Dr. Arvind Kumar, Deputy Director of education. The Annual report presented by the school Principal, Ms Aruna Sivaraj, consisted of the multiple facts of school with the entire gamut of achievements and glory. She especially highlighted the award trophy given to the winners which was indigenously designed with recyclable plastic by a group of senior secondary students associated with ATAL Tinkering Lab at school. Thereafter, the sports events held, captivated the audience and it left them spell bound. Later parents too became the part of the event and they participated at a number of sports contest. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest IAS Veditha Reddy, Director Of Education, lauded the efforts and wish the new generation to remain committed to the purpose of the education. The school Chairman, Shri K.C. Gupta inspired the students to have a balanced and holistic development. The sports day came to an end with the valedictory speech.
