World Environment Day

Many Species, One Planet, One Future.

On the occasion of 'World Environment Day', 5th June 2023, the Eco- Club of the School, joined hands with the rest of the world to commemorate this important day.To spread awareness about climate change and its detrimental impacts on humans,

Students got an excellent opportunity to explore the nature through the various activities conducted like tree planting campaigns, art from waste exhibits, recycling initiative, waste reduction initiatives, pot making,slogan writing, poster making etc.... The main purpose of these activities was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment and not use plastic bags.

Students participated in these activities with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Even NCC Cadets of Junior Division and Junior Wing participated enthusiastically on this occasion. Many slogans and posters were made by the children on World Environment Day. Debate was also presented on World Environment Day and the topic of debate was Plastic Free India. Before concluding the programme, plantation was also done by Cadets in school premises.

This initiative of the school is a small step to help reduce pollution and make our surroundings clean and green.The Principal, Ms Aruna Sivaraj and teachers actively participated by planting saplings. The message was also sent to the parents to participate in the plantation drives in their neighbourhood areas.The drive was a huge success, empowering students with substantial knowledge of the environment.
