Vocational, Art, and Physical Education Program A comprehensive capacity Building Programme

Program on Vocational Education, Art Education, and Physical Education was organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 14, 2024, at the CBSE Integrated Office, Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi. The event aimed at promoting holistic student development in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The session was chaired by Shri Rahul Singh, Chairperson, CBSE, and was graced by the presence of esteemed guests including Mr. S.S. Malik, Ms. Mani Aggarwal, and Ms. Hemlata. The program focused on strengthening the role of vocational training, creativity, and physical fitness in the school curriculum.

Key Highlights: Vocational Education: Focused on equipping students with hands-on skills, practical knowledge, and career-oriented training to enhance employability. Art Education: Encouraged self-expression and creativity through disciplines such as music, dance, theatre, and visual arts. Physical Education: Highlighted the importance of physical health, teamwork, sportsmanship, and mental well-being through structured physical activities and yoga.

The program was informative and well-received, fostering awareness and appreciation of the diverse areas contributing to the overall growth of students.
