Tree Plantation

Himalaya Public Senior Secondary School, carried out a Tree Plantation Drive outside the school premises, to support Khatu Shyam Delhi Dham. initiative of mass plantation to reduce air pollution. The Principal, Ms Aruna Sivaraj and teachers actively participated by planting saplings of native plant species of Delhi like Jamun, Amaltaas ,Neem, Mulberry, Gulmohar etc. The message was also sent to the parents to participate in the plantation drives in their neighbourhood areas. Planting of trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. The drive was a huge success, empowering students with substantial knowledge of environment and plants.
