Swachhata Pakhwada 2025
Himalaya Public Senior Secondary School recently participated in the Swachhata Pakhwada 2025, a nationwide cleanliness drive observed from July 1-15, 2025. The school's enthusiastic participation in the event aimed to promote cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene among children and the community.
Key Activities
- Poster and Slogan Competition: On July 9, 2025, the school organized a program with Indian Oil Corporation, where students from classes 6 to 8 participated in a poster and slogan competition. The event was graced by Mr. Gautam Dutta, CGM, and Abhishek Sharma, SM HR, Indian Oil Corporation.
- Pledge Taking Ceremony: During the assembly, students took a pledge to contribute to the nationwide cleanliness drive.
- Dance and Song Performance: Students performed a dance and song on eliminating single-use plastic, highlighting the importance of reducing plastic waste.
- the "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam" campaign, which involves tree plantation, is being observed in school promoting environmental conservation and sustainability.
