National Mathematics Day Celebration

Event: Birth Anniversary Celebration of Srinivasa Ramanujan
On 21st December 2024, the Department of B.Tech & Applied Science celebrated the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on the occasion of National Mathematics Day. Under the guidance of HOD Dr. C.M. Batra, this celebration included a one-day workshop featuring various mathematics activities.

The event was organized by the KIET Institute Group of Institutes, Ghaziabad. It featured a Model Presentation Exhibition in which approximately 25 schools and 5 colleges participated.

Five students of Himalaya Public Sr.SecondarySchool, alongwithTeacher coordinator Vikas Sharma, represented the institution with a working model titled "DERIWHEELS," which is based on the concept of derivatives. Their model earned the first position out of all the participating schools and colleges.

This achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of our students and the continuous support and guidance provided by our faculty. It was a day filled with learning, innovation, and celebration of mathematical excellence.
