Independence Day

On August 14, 2024, HPS celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The school was decorated with flags, balloons, and banners to mark the occasion. The event began with the arrival of the eminent Guests Retired sergeant-Sh. O.P. Saini, Maths Magician-Sh. Saurabh Jain and Vedic Bhodhic Academy coordinator/Achievers academy Director-Ms. Seema Bhatt, who were warmly welcomed by the Principal, teachers, and students.

The celebration started with the flag hoisting ceremony, where the Guests, Principal Ma'am (Ms. Aruna Sivaraj), Administrator Ma'am (Madam Radha Ratnam) unfurled the national flag and The entire school community stood in attention as the flag fluttered in the breeze, and the National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" was sung by the students, filling the air with a deep sense of patriotism and pride.. A parade by the NCC cadets was a major highlight, showcasing their discipline and coordination as they marched past the ground.

The Principal, Ms. Aruna Sivaraj delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of freedom and urging students to contribute positively to the nation's future. The Guests praised the students for their performances and spoke about the role of youth in nation-building.

The event also featured cultural performances including patriotic songs and dances. The celebration ended with a vote of thanks leaving everyone in high spirits and filled with pride.
